Abstract

ABSTRACK
This study aims to analyze the influence of physical work environment, rewards, and workload on teacher commitment at SMK Tamtama Kroya. Teacher commitment is a crucial factor in supporting the quality of education and can be influenced by working conditions and managerial systems within the school environment. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 42 teachers and staff as respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26 for Windows to examine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of the study show that simultaneously, physical work environment, rewards, and workload have a significant effect on teacher commitment. Partially, physical work environment and rewards have a positive and significant effect, while workload has a negative and significant effect on teacher commitment. These findings indicate that school management needs to create a comfortable work environment, provide fair rewards, and manage workload in a balanced manner to improve teachers’ commitment to the institution.

ABSTRAKSI
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja fisik, penghargaan, dan beban kerja terhadap komitmen guru di SMK Tamtama Kroya. Komitmen guru merupakan faktor penting dalam menunjang kualitas pendidikan, yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi kerja dan sistem manajerial di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 42 guru dan karyawan sebagai responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 26 for Windows, untuk menguji pengaruh masing-masing variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, lingkungan kerja fisik, penghargaan, dan beban kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen guru. Secara parsial, lingkungan kerja fisik dan penghargaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan beban kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap komitmen guru. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sekolah perlu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman, memberikan penghargaan yang adil, serta mengelola beban kerja secara seimbang untuk meningkatkan komitmen guru terhadap institusi.
