Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the effect of supervision and the non-physical work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the PPNPN Ministry of Transportation Terminal type A Kebumen. The sampling method used in this research was a saturated sample, namely taking the entire number of respondents as many as 37 respondents. Data analysis used includes instrument tests consisting of validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, path analysis, hypothesis tests, Sobel tests and correlation analysis. The results of this research show that all statement items for each variable are valid and reliable. The research model meets the classic assumption test criteria, there is no multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and meets the assumptions of normality. Based on the results of the structural partial test (t test) 1, the results showed that the supervision variable had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and the non-physical work environment had a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction at the PPNPN Ministry of Transportation Terminal type A Kebumen. Based on the results of the structural partial test (t test) 2, the results showed that the supervision variable had a negative and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance and non-physical work environment variables had no effect on employee performance PPNPN of the Ministry of Transportation Type A Kebumen Terminal. Job satisfaction can mediate the influence between supervision and the non-physical work environment on the PPNPN performance of the Ministry of Transportation for Terminal type A Kebumen.
