Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of digital financial literacy, locus of control, and self-efficacy on the professional readiness of prospective accountants in the era of digital transformation. This study used a quantitative approach with a nonprobability sampling method using a purposive sampling technique. The population of this study was accounting students in Indonesia, with a total sample of 190 respondents. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Structural Equation Model–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the SmartPLS version 4 software. The results showed that digital financial literacy, locus of control, and self-efficacy had a positive effect on the professional readiness of prospective accountants in the era of digital transformation.
